Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California in the 9th day of July, 1983. Her first job after leaving school was in the real estate industry. It was here that she got to know Tarek. They were extremely successful until the 2008 stock market crash when many real estate and home flippers collapsed. Tarek El Moussa nearly wiped out in the 2008 financial crisis. The couple relocated from their expensive house, for which they paid $6,000 per month, to a modest apartment which cost only $700. They slowly rebuilt their company and the entire economy. HGTV & Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted his friend to aid in making an HGTV video audition in 2011. The tape showed Tarek and Christina teaming up in flipping a house. Pie Town Productions' executives got hold of the tape. The executives fell in adore with Tarek and Christina. The couple officially signed a agreement with HGTV in the year 2012. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013, Over the course of seven seasons, this show aired from 2013 to 2017. The show featured Christina and Tarek purchasing properties in Orange County. They would work for weeks on reworking the properties so that they could sell their properties at a profit. Tarek handles the demolition, remodeling and design. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
