Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is an American performer and actress. Her birthplace and childhood was in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is Nurse as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. Kristen was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan with the family of a Polish mother and a father who is German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen discovered her talents within the industry of entertainment in her early years. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She got an appearance in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell, who was 13 when her mother signed as an agent was also auditioned for advertisements for newspapers and television. Also, Bell began taking acting lessons privately. Bell was credited as a character in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a part of the music and drama club at Shrine Catholic High School. She was cast as Dorothy in the high-school production in The Wizard of Oz. Bell was then transferred in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She studied musical theater at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she was cast in the role Becky for Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. Her scene, however cut, and Bell's only role is the final credits. Bell made an appearance in Broadway for the first time in The Crucible, a revival that featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
